Get Baptized
Baptism is a way of publicly professing your faith in Jesus Christ.  In a sense, it's "going public" with your faith.  It doesn't make someone a follower of Christ, but it communicates what has taken place in your heart at the time of salvation.

Jesus Commands all of his followers to be baptized (Matthew 28). We believe that every person who believes in Christ should be baptized.

Because Jesus was baptized by being immersed in water, we believe that this method best symbolizes his command to be baptized.  Immersion signifies that we share in Christ's death and resurrection (under the water, dead to old life - out of the water, new life).  It also symbolizes that we are washed clean, having our sins forgiven by Christ's death on the Cross.

At NewPointe, we believe that along with the actual baptism, a public testimony is a critical part of the baptism process - whether it's a video testimony or a photo voice over. We play it during your baptism service so that you have the opportunity to share the change that Christ brought into your life, and so others can hear it.  We work hard to make this process simple and fun, and help all participants through the process.

Baptisms are scheduled at various times throughout the year.  We look forward to walking through this meaningful and significant experience with you.
