Losing It

Life is full of chaos. As we go through each day, encountering different situations and people, we experience a variety of emotions. Anger creeps in and causes us to lash out at someone we love; stress overwhelms us to the point where we don’t have time for God or the people around us; jealousy tears apart our relationships; worry magnifies our problems. When we let these negative emotions control how we respond to the circumstances in our lives, we drift farther from God and who He created us to be.

Throughout the month of September, we will take a deeper look at four common emotions – what they really are and how to deal with them.

Join us at one of our locations nearest to you as we talk about how we can stay calm in the midst of life’s challenges and deal with our negative emotions in a godly way. This series will offer valuable insights and encouragement to help you keep your cool when you feel like LOSING IT.

Follow The Leader

TV, radio, and magazines bombard us with news and entertainment every day. It’s not hard to be influenced in some way by what’s going on around us, but do we recognize that we have the potential to influence others too? In fact, we are called to do just that by Jesus, whose influence is still making a difference in our world today.

Join us during the month of August as we discuss the seven spheres of influence that shape the culture of our world, and how we can leverage our influence in the places we go just like Jesus did. In this series, we will learn how to follow our Leader!

All In

Always Ready

Our faith will be challenged at some point in time. In the face of questions, knowing how to respond can get complicated. That’s why it’s essential to know what we believe and why we believe it.

God calls us to be prepared to give a reason for why we follow Him. Throughout this series, we’ll gain the tools needed to know how to respond when our faith is challenged. We’ll also discover how knowing the answer to one of the most important questions about our faith can make all the difference.

MINDCONTROL

Our thoughts are powerful. What we consistently think about often becomes a part of who we are. When we fail to gain control over the negative thoughts that enter our minds, that negativity can affect our attitudes and actions.

Although refocusing our thoughts may seem like a difficult process, this series will show us that God gives us the power to move toward positive thinking. We’ll discover how caring for our minds will enable us to live healthy, happy, and productive lives.

Moving Beyond

We all have things in our past that are hard to move beyond. Whether it’s a financial hardship, a failed career, or a broken relationship, we make choices that we regret. Often we must deal with the negative experiences that have impacted us before we can truly move forward and  begin living the productive and fulfilling life we all desire. We’ll look at how God uses time to shape us into the best version of ourselves and lead us into the life He envisions for us. As we talk about regret, forgiveness, and heartache, discover the plan God has for you to truly move beyond!

Easter

No matter who you are, it’s likely you have heard of “Christianity.” It’s also likely you have heard of a man named Jesus.

Most people agree, whether or not they call themselves “Christian,” that Jesus was a great teacher and a good man to model your life after. Christianity, however, wasn’t founded on a belief system or set of teachings. Instead, it grew out of faith in an event – the death and resurrection of Jesus.

In this one epic moment in time, the world was changed forever. This event would forever challenge what we knew about life and death. It would start a chain reaction of debates and discussions, and force us to decide what we will choose to believe.

No matter what way you look at it…it was BIG!

The Importance of You

We all have been given gifts. Unique talents that are designed to help us contribute to the bigger picture.

Too often we tend to feel like maybe we aren’t good enough or that we don’t measure up, because we fail to see just exactly how vital our role is.

Today we are going to dispell those ideas. Today we will remind you that God didn’t make a mistake. That when He gave you your talents, it was so you could fulfill a purpose. Today we will show you  just how important you really are!
