Necessary Endings

The start of a new year is the time for resolutions. You’re determined to lose 20 pounds, to get out of debt, to eat healthier. But the new year is good for more than just making new goals – it’s for leaving the old behind and starting fresh. Join us for a two-part series, “Necessary Endings,” where we will look at how we can say goodbye to the burdens in our lives that are holding us back, and how we can press forward toward our goals, and a happy and successful life.

In the Meantime

Home for Christmas

There’s no place like home for the holidays. But with the anticipation of the in-laws coming to visit, an endless list of gifts to shop for, and just wanting your kids to stay off the “naughty” list for once, it’s kind of difficult to believe.

We all want the picture-perfect Christmas with our families, but often it feels like nothing brings out the “fun” in dysfunction more than a trip home for Christmas.

Join us as we talk about how we can deal with the chaos and dysfunction of being home for the holidays.

Running on Fumes

When your gas tank reads empty, it’s often tempting to coast on by a gas station, to try to make it just one more mile. And yet, running out of gas is inevitable. We find ourselves making this same mistake in our everyday lives. How can we turn off the cruise control and begin to live intentionally? Join us as we take a look at how, with God’s help, we can begin to refuel in various areas of our lives.

It's Complicated

Our lives are made up of all kinds of different relationships – relationships with our spouse, children, coworkers, friends . . . But where relationships exist, conflict is bound to happen, and facing the problem just always seems so . . . complicated. Is it possible that having those crucial conversations isn’t quite as hard as you thought? Join us as we take a look at how instead of frustration, having crucial conversations God’s way brings an opportunity to honor God, serve others, and grow your own character.

WisDUMB

Dumb decisions we’ve all made them. Sometimes more frequently than we care to admit. Is there a way to avoid them? (or at least keep from repeating them?) Join us as we explore the source and benefits of true wisdom. In this series you’ll discover not only how to find wisdom but also the courage to act on it.

Moved

We are all moved by something: a touching card, a rousing speech, or a half-time rally by the coach. But what moves us as a church? What is expected of us as Christ-followers? What is God calling you specifically to? Where is He moving you? In this series we will look at what it means to really be MOVED!

Deep & Wide

A well provides water. A good well provides a lot of water, for a really long time. A good well is both deep and wide. The church is like a well. A good church provides a place for a lot of people to experience God, and creates a community full of life. But often times the church is deep or wide. We either reach a lot of people on the surface or we dig so deep that we lose them on the way down. In this series, we will discuss what it means to be a church that is both deep AND wide.
