Today’s Scripture: Galatians 6:2
Life can be heavy. At different times, every person faces challenges that feel overwhelming. Grief, disappointment, financial stress, relationship struggles, health concerns, and unexpected setbacks can leave us feeling exhausted and alone.
God never intended us to carry those burdens by ourselves.
Paul writes, “Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.”
One of the greatest gifts of biblical community is the opportunity to walk alongside one another during difficult seasons.
- Sometimes carrying a burden means offering practical help
- Sometimes it means listening without trying to fix the situation
- Sometimes it means praying faithfully for someone who is hurting
- Sometimes it simply means being present
The reality is that we all experience seasons when we need help. We all need people who will encourage us, support us, and remind us that God is still faithful.
Likewise, there will be times when God calls us to carry someone else’s burden. Jesus consistently moved toward people who were hurting. As His followers, we are called to do the same.
Community becomes powerful when people stop pretending they have it all together and begin helping one another through life’s challenges. No one was meant to walk through hardship alone. God often meets our needs through the care, compassion, and support of other believers.

PRAYER
Jesus, You always moved toward people who were hurting. When life feels heavy, help me be willing to let others walk with me. Give me eyes to see those carrying burdens around me, and show me how to help, whether by listening, praying, or simply being present. Teach me to stop pretending I have it all together, and to carry one another’s burdens the way You call me to.
