Better Together

Better Together

October 10, 2026

Today’s Scripture: Ecclesiastes 4:9-10

As we conclude this study, we are reminded of a simple but powerful truth: We are better together. Ecclesiastes teaches that two are better than one because they can help each other succeed, support one another through challenges, and lift each other up when they fall. This has been God’s design from the beginning.

Over the past eight weeks, we have explored what it means to follow Jesus. We have learned about His invitation, spiritual habits, generosity, trust, serving, sharing our faith, and living in community. None of those things were meant to happen alone. We follow Jesus together. We grow together. We serve together. We encourage one another. We remind each other of truth when life becomes difficult.

One of the enemy’s greatest strategies is isolation. One of God’s greatest gifts is community.

The Christian life is not a sprint. It is a lifelong journey of becoming more like Jesus. And God has surrounded us with people who can help us stay faithful along the way.

As this study ends, the invitation continues.

  • Stay connected
  • Keep growing
  • Keep serving
  • Keep sharing
  • Keep encouraging
  • Keep following Jesus with others who are pursuing Him too

The journey is better when we walk it together.

PERSONAL REFLECTION

What is one next step you can take to remain connected in biblical community after this study concludes? Commit to taking that step this week.

PRAYER

Lord, thank You that two are better than one and that we are better together. Over these weeks You have taught me to follow, grow, serve, give, and share. Guard me from the isolation the enemy uses against me, and help me embrace the community You so generously provide. As this study ends, keep me connected, growing, and faithful, walking the journey alongside others who are pursuing You.

The Daily is following along with The Way, our fall group study, through November 7.
