Today’s Scripture: John 9:25
One of the most effective tools God has given you is your story.
In John 9, a man who had been born blind was questioned repeatedly about Jesus. The religious leaders wanted explanations. They wanted theological answers.
The man’s response was simple: “One thing I do know. I was blind but now I see.”
He did not have all the answers. He simply shared what Jesus had done in his life.
Many Christians hesitate to talk about their faith because they feel unqualified. They worry they do not know enough Scripture or cannot answer difficult questions.
But people are often impacted most by authenticity.
Your story is uniquely powerful because it is personal. No one can argue with your experience. No one can deny what God has done in your life. Your story may include a dramatic transformation or a gradual journey of faith. Either way, it points to God’s grace.
- People connect with honesty
- They connect with hope
- They connect with real-life examples of God’s faithfulness
God has given you a story not only for your benefit but also for the benefit of others. You never know how He might use your experience to encourage, inspire, or draw someone closer to Him.
PERSONAL REFLECTION
Write down three ways God has been faithful in your life. Consider how you could naturally share one of those stories with someone this week.
PRAYER
Lord, thank You for the story You are writing in my life. Like the man who simply said, “I was blind but now I see,” help me share what You have done without feeling I must have every answer. Use my honesty, my hope, and my experience of Your faithfulness to encourage and draw others closer to You. Give me courage to share my story this week
