Make the Most of Every Opportunity

Make the Most of Every Opportunity

April 14, 2025

This past week I officiated a celebration of life for a person whose physical life here on earth ended way too soon.

That is the bad news.

The good news is this person knew Jesus as King of his life, since as King, Jesus is also the only Savior and the granter of eternal life.

Why is Jesus, and He alone, the only giver of eternal life? Because He conquered sin, the grave, and death once and for all.

He did that as He willingly died on the cross and three days later walked out of the grave under His own power. That’s more than amazing, but even more astounding is the fact that He said He would do exactly that and then fulfilled every part of it!

This is the most important and significant event that has ever happened!

You see, I believe everyone spends forever somewhere – forever either with Jesus or separated from Him. But more great news – He has made it possible for everyone to be with Him.

We are celebrating Jesus’ resurrection this weekend at NewPointe: At 4 PM on Saturday and 9 & 11 AM on Sunday. It’s Easter!

We are going to share about this most important and significant event and how Jesus who is the center of the event can change the trajectory of one’s life. The things that you, your family, and friends are experiencing can be so confusing and difficult. God wants you to let those things lead you to the One who is able to give peace and purpose in a world that seems overloaded and filled with disappointment and defeat.

I encourage you to invite your family, friends, and co-workers to come and sit with you. Think of at least one person. Everyone needs to know Jesus. This is a great opportunity.

It promises to be revolutionary.

Don’t miss this opportunity.
